This will allow you to truly understand what happened in Rwanda in 1994 when one million people died within a 100 day span. Day six you will take a ride in a wooden boat on the Lake Kivu to visit the hot springs in Rubona. Later you’ll enjoy an incredible performance from the Intore Traditional dancers. Gorilla trekking will continue on day seven, depending on where the gorillas are and the weather, the length hike into the forest on the edge of the Virunga mountain chain, can vary slightly. Get the full African experience with a volcano climb in the morning and arrive at the top in the late afternoon for fantastic views of the lava lake at evening. Then on day nine we arrive at the lake Bunyonyi for the for a cultural walk on the southwestern shores to many of the local villages.
